CUPE 3912 Part-time Faculty - Conciliation Ends Without Agreement; Work Stoppage Begins

Wednesday, October 22, 2025

Saint Mary's University reports that the conciliation session with the bargaining team for CUPE 3912, representing part-time faculty, concluded on October 22, 2025, without a tentative agreement being reached. 

Following the close of conciliation, CUPE 3912 has announced its intention to move toward a strike on October 23, as permitted under the Nova Scotia Labour Relations Act.
