Education, Research, and Knowledge: About Co-ops, By Co-ops, For Co-ops

The International Centre for Co-operative Management (ICCM) at Saint Mary’s University is the go-to centre for education and research on co-operative management and governance.

Created by co-operative, credit union, and mutual enterprises (CMEC) to provide education and research that fits the co-operative enterprise model, the Centre offers rigorous and dynamic opportunities to those who wish to deepen their understanding of the unique values-based, people-centred co-operative approach to business.

Something for Every Co-operator

The Centre revolves around three pillars of engagement - Education, Research, and Knowledge Dissemination. We offer in-person and online programs spanning 1 day to 3 years.

We welcome co-operators of all stripes: from those just starting out in their co-operative careers to veteran co-operators. We cover co-operative ground around the globe and across all sectors and industries – from worker co-operatives in Spain to credit unions in Africa to co-operative retail federations in Canada.

Find an offering that works for you and join us to take your co-operative career to the next level!
