Information gaps, time squeezes and behavioural dynamics are pressures commonly faced in the boardroom. The ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program (DEP) has been designed to help experienced directors overcome these challenges.

This highly interactive program is delivered in four modules, and each module is typically three days. It includes roundtable discussions, real-time case studies, and on-point insights from leading governance experts.

The DEP allows experienced directors to:

  • build on their expertise
  • fine-tune skills for around the boardroom table
  • strengthen their capacity to create and protect value for their organizations

Vivek Sood

“The ICD-Rotman DEP is a smart, deliberate, and dynamic curriculum that challenges us to elevate our thinking and approach to good governance practice. Skilled instruction with many opportunities to share knowledge and new perspectives, combined with comradery and meaningful discussions with my peers, not only allowed me to embrace the joy of being a student again, but prepared me to be a valuable contributor in my role as director.”
