The Sobey MTEI Program is currently offering the following scholarships thanks to our generous donors!

Steele MTEI Scholarships

Dr. Robert Steele DComm’18

Field of Study

Master of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MTEI)

Value

 $5,000-$10,000 each

Applications will close October 31st, 2023.

Terms of Reference: 

Each scholarship is awarded annually to a full-time graduate student, at Saint Mary’s University, enrolled in the Master of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MTEI) program.

Scholarships will be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership community service and previous entrepreneurship experience. These awards are non-renewable.

Award selection will be administered by the Dean, Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research on the recommendation of the MTEI Scholarship Committee.

Eligibility:                     

To be considered for a Steele Scholarship, you must:

  • Be unconditionally accepted to the MTEI program
  • Submit a 1-2 page letter to sobeygrad.admissions@smu.ca outlining your experience and discussing why you should be considered for the Steele Scholarship

These awards are open to both domestic and international students.

Sammy Ho Scholarship

Yuen Ching (Sammy) Ho is the CFO, Co-Founder, and Director of Nova Lifestyle, a NASDAQ-listed company headquartered in California. Nova Lifestyle is a fast-growing, innovative designer and manufacturer of modern lifestyle furniture. Sammy Ho obtained his bachelor's degree at Saint Mary's University, and as a great Santamarian, he is contributing to the success of future generations of SMU Alumni.

Award selection will be determined by the Dean of Sobey School of Business in consultation with the MTEI Program Director.
